INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana Task Force One has returned home.
The Indiana emergency responders group left Friday for Georgia.
They were then cleared to return home Monday.
The force is made up of firefighters from across central Indiana.
Nearly 90 members of the group traveled to the Southeast to help with clean-up following Hurricane Matthew.
They were supposed to assist with the search and rescue missions, but they were never needed. However, they still made good use of the trip as training for future missions.
