Police attempt to serve felony warrant and instead find marijuana, paraphernalia and cocaine in home
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested a woman after they found marijuana, paraphernalia and cocaine in her home.
According to police, Northwest District Flex officers and narcotics and vice detectives attempted to serve a felony warrant in the 2200 block of North Capital Avenue on October 11, shortly after 3:30 p.m.
While officers surrounded the home, they found a large marijuana plant growing in the back yard.
After given consent by the Marion County Prosecutors Office, they searched the rest of the home. Inside the home they found:
- A hydroponic lab
- Large quantity of marijuana being processed to sale
- Four firearms
Police arrested 49-year-old Linda Glover for possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and cocaine.
Glover was transported to the Arrestee Processing Center.
