10 digit dialing to go into effect Saturday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — All phone users of central Indiana will now have to dial all 10 digits for local phone calls beginning Saturday.
If you don’t include the area code before the other seven digits, the call won’t go through.
Experts are reminding cell phone users to make sure they save the area code in stored numbers.
The 463 area code will be added later this year and assigned to new cell phone customers in Central Indiana.
