One shot, another ran over by car on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people were taken to the hospital following a shooting and a crash near Gardner Park.

Authorities said it happened around 11 p.m. Saturday night in the 6900 block of East 46th Street in Lawrence.

When authorities arrived on scene they said they found one victim had a gunshot wound and the other had been run over by a vehicle.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department interviewed multiple people on scene, but determined that none were suspects.

Both individuals are listed as being in stable condition and expected to survive their injuries.
