3 seriously hurt in Fishers crash

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Fishers are investigating a serious vehicle crash on Interstate 69.

According to the Fishers Police Department, the three vehicle accident happened near the 205 mile marker on I-69 around 9 p.m. Sunday evening.

Police said one of the vehicle’s engine block was ejected from the vehicle and traveled 100 yards. It then struck another vehicle. Three people are said to be seriously injured in the accident.

Fisher PD said one person was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi and two others were taken to St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital.

The ramp to northbound to State Road 37 and 116th Street was closed until at least 12:30 a.m. as the investigation wrapped up.
