Macy’s opening an hour earlier on Thanksgiving

(WISH) – Macy’s department stores plan to open an hour earlier on Thanksgiving day this year. This goes against some other retailers who announced they will be closed for the holiday.

According to, Macys’ will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.

In 2014 and 2015, the department store opened its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Last week, HH Greg announced it will be closed on Thanksgiving day, and earlier this month the Mall of America said it will not open on the holiday either.
