(WISH) – Macy’s department stores plan to open an hour earlier on Thanksgiving day this year.¬†This goes against some other retailers who announced they will be closed for the holiday.

According to bestblackfriday.com, Macys’ will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.

In 2014 and 2015, the department store opened its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Last week, HH Greg announced it will be closed on Thanksgiving day, and earlier this month the Mall of America said it will not open on the holiday either.
