Man dead following Halloween party, one charged
OWEN COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A woman is in custody following the death of a man over the weekend near Coal City.
Authorities have arrested 52-year-old Tammy Lynn Stuard for allegedly shooting and killing 53-year-old Bradley Jones inside his home Saturday morning.
Detectives believe an argument took place before the shooting.
Stuard shot Jones because she believed he was going to hurt others who were inside the home.
Stuard faces a preliminary charge of murder.
