Suspect takes empty cash drawer in Burger King robbery

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police are investigating after a Burger King was robbed Sunday night. It happened about 9 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Broadway.

A 38-year-old employee told police the suspect entered the store wearing a black mask. He jumped over the counter and took a cash register drawer that had no money.

There were several witnesses to the robbery. No one was hurt. The suspect left in a black four door car.
