Dog euthanized after being found duct taped on side of road

HOUSTON, TX (WCMH) – Officials say the dog had to be euthanized after it was left for dead on the side of the road with duct tape on its body.

“My daughter was like mom there’s a dog and I looked and the dog in between all the trash. Laying there with duct tape, bleeding,” Jana Nguwen, who found the German shepherd, told KPRC.

SPCA officers responded to the scene and rushed the dog to local vets.

“They have taken the dog to do some surgery and see if they can save the dog, but it’s our understanding she’s in bad shape,” Constable Mark Herman told KPRC.

Unfortunately, the dog had to be euthanized because of its injuries.
