People who get social security will see almost no increase in 2017

(WISH) – People who get social security will see almost no increase in 2017.

Social security recipients won’t get much of an increase next year.

They will receive three-tenths of a percent increase in their monthly checks in 2017. That comes to about $5 more a month. Much of that increase will go to medicare, which is expected to go up 22 percent next year.
