Study: Women angrier than men when they’re behind the wheel

HIGH WYCOMBE, England (WCMH) – Researchers at Hyundai Motor UK have found that female drivers are angrier than male drivers, according to a study.

The recent study of 1,000 drivers in the United Kingdom reveals that, on average, women are 12 percent angrier than men when they are driving. The researchers said this may be an evolutionary “defense” instinct from when humans were hunter-gatherers.

In all test scenarios, women were more likely to respond to certain stimuli with anger-for example, being shouted at, beeped at, having to deal with a back seat driver, or being faced with another driver who didn’t use his or her turn signal.
