INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) —An arrest has been made in a Broad Ripple murder from early October.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department along with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force made the arrest Wednesday morning.

The murder happened on Oct. 3 in Broad Ripple.

Police say a fight led to the shooting that left 23-year-old Tre Spencer dead and 22-year-old Shaquille Potts hospitalized.

Police have arrested 23-year-old Marcus Barnes.

He faces preliminary charges of murder and battery with a deadly weapon.
