Ivy Tech to host event for Spirit and Place Festival

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Ivy Tech Community College will be allowing attendees of the upcoming Spirit and Place Festival to create art about bats, bees and birds.

Instructors from ARTFORCE Art Camp, Social Sketch Indy and the Garfield Park Arts Center’s Arts for All program will be in attendance.

Approximately 90 family units will be able to build bat, bird, or bee houses in partnership with students and faculty from the college’s Construction Technology program.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Garfield Park Arts Center.

It is free and open to the public.
