INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An Indianapolis staple business funded in the city more than 60-years-ago is now officially opening its new headquarters in the Brookside Industrial Cooridor.
McNamara Florist held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday at their new location on Ludlow Avenue, near Mass Ave and Commerce.
The company bought and rehabilitated the building, moving its corporate officers there Thursday from Fishers.
Mayor Joe Hogsett said the new headquarters will help in the revitalization of Indianapolis near the east side.
“McNamara’s presence here will begin a process of transportation encourage other small businesses, entrepreneurs to find their homes right here in this industrial corridor,” Hogsett said.
McNamara is the largest retail florists in Central Indiana. Their service area extends to eight cities.
