INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – More merger plans are being discussed with Anthem-Cigna. In other business headlines Amazon gave consumers a warning about the upcoming holiday season.

Jane King is live at the Nasdaq with those stories and more and Daybreak.

Missouri’s top insurance regulator has scheduled a public hearing to review the mega-insurance tie-up between Anthem and Cigna. The hearing is set for Nov. 17. The U.S. Department of Justice has already filed suit to block the Anthem and Cigna merger, as well as the separate combination of Aetna and Humana.

Also, Amazon provided a disappointing forecast for the holiday season quarter. They say profits are not matching up to what investors are thinking. However, a new survey from the national retail federation says Americans are waiting until the elections are over before spending a lot on the holidays.
