ISP to hold second annual trunk or treating event

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana State Police Museum hosted the second annual trunk or treat this weekend.

Last year, the event brought more than 400 people to the museum.

They got to spend time with state police, members of the fire department, the SWAT team, suba team and more.

All kids in costume were able to go from trunk to trunk to get safe Halloween treats.

“I think they enjoyed it because you don’t always get that one on one time with a police officer and a lot of people don’t know that we have all those teams. And so I think it was a great way for them to realize state police does and to see the human side of a police officer.”

The event was free and ran from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29th.
