INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning.
It happened right around 3 a.m. on East 10th Street near Sadlier Drive.
Authorities said a 38-year-old woman was walking on the street when she was struck by an unknown vehicle.
Police have identified her as Cherry Velasquez Crisostomo.
An EMT passerby attempted to perform CPR on the body before medics arrived on scene.
This is the city’s second fatal hit-and-run in 24 hours, following another that occurred Saturday night near Lafayette Road and West 56th Street.
