Local group seeks homes for abandoned reptiles

An African Spurred Tortoise, a Red Tailed Boa Constrictor and a Bearded Dragon…. just a sampling of our guests on today’s Indy Style, and all for good reason! We learn all about Scaly Tailz, a reptile and amphibian education and rescue group, what they do, and how they even offer fun and educational reptile demonstrations.

About Scaly Tailz:

* Scaly Tailz takes in reptiles and amphibians that have been abandoned, as well as those that just need a new and loving home.

* Scaly Tailz teaches people about proper reptile pet ownership, about wildlife conservation, and can help you get over your fear of reptiles. We are in the process of obtaining 501(c)3 status, and are trying to raise funds for a larger and permanent location.

* Scaly Tailz takes in reptiles and amphibians that have been abandoned, as well as those that just need a new and loving home. We have been doing this since 1997.
