Local MasterChef contestant to serve special dinner
Pull up a chair and take a seat! Coming up later this month, you can “Eat with MasterChef Tanorria!” From the South straight to your Mouth, Tanorria Askew is a resident MasterChef Season 7 Contestant who cooks with heart, passion, and plenty of sass. A self-proclaimed flavor queen, Tanorria knows her stuff, and loves to share it with others. Come have a seat at her table!
Here is Tanorria’s recipe for her pomegranate vinaigrette dressing:Fall/Winter Salad
- Mixed Greens
- Pickled Carrots
- Heirloom Tomatoes
- Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
- Feta Cheese
- Cornbread Croutons
- Pomegranate Vinaigrette
Vinaigrette:
½ c pomegranate juice
3 Tbs Dijon mustard
1 Tbs maple syurp
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
¼ c extra virgin olive oil
In a small bowl combine pomegranate juice, mustard, syrup, salt, and pepper. Slowly drizzle in olive oil with a whisk until all ingredients are combined. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.Eat With MasterChef Tanorria
