Local technology company expanding

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A local company that creates technology for use in the health care industry is expanding.

TriMDX is adding over a hundred new jobs.

The company already employs more than 1,500 people nationwide.

Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb was in attendance Tuesday to make the jobs announcement.

The Republican Holcomb is currently running for governor against Democrat John Gregg and Libertarian Rex Bell.

Democrat John Gregg has promised to bring more science and technology jobs to Indiana.
