3 people sent to hospital after crash on east side of Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Three people were sent to the hospital early Wednesday morning after a crash on the east side of Indianapolis.

According to police, two guys were in a truck that broke down, when one guy got out to push it. While they were pushing the truck, it was rear-ended by another  vehicle. Both vehicles ended up in nearby yards.

The crash happened near 25th and Post Drive around 3:06 a.m.

Police said the driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the truck that broke down, told IMPD they didn’t see them. Officers said alcohol may be a factor with that driver.

IMPD said one person is listed as in serious condition.
