FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – The Fishers Police Department is investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that happened early Wednesday morning, which sent two people to the hospital.

When officers arrived, police said they found a 2006 Saturn Ion car driven by 24-year-old Gavin Vincent, and a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck driven by 33-year-old Bradley Shupe, were involved in a head-on collision.

After investigation, police said it looked like the Saturn was traveling northbound when it may have crossed the center line of the road, hitting the Chevrolet traveling southbound.

Police said the driver of the Saturn was transported by air ambiance to a hospital close by. The driver of the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital nearby as well.

Police said it does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
