FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — Kroger has opened the doors of its newest central Indiana location.

The new store on Olio Road in Fishers officially opened at 8 a.m. Thursday.

It’s more than 124,000 square feet and cost $25 million to build.

The project is part of Kroger’s plan to build eight Marketplace-format store in central Indiana through 2018.

The new location offers a large bulk food section and another unique area dedicated to fashion essentials.

Officials say the plan will eventually add more than 4,000 jobs in our area.
