Missing PA teenager located safely in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A missing Pennsylvania teenager was found safely in Terre Haute on Thursday afternoon.

The 13-year-old girl was a runaway from Easton, PA.

Indiana State Police received information from the Pennsylvania State Police that the girl may be in Terre Haute.

ISP troopers found her at the bus station on 9th and Cherry Streets.

Police say she was on her way, by bus to meet and move in with a person that identified themselves as a 15-year-old girl, in Los Angles, CA.

Police say she was traveling alone and unharmed.

The girl was reportedly having family issues.

She was taken to the Vigo County Juvenile Center while waiting for Pennsylvania State Police to come take her home.
