Tamika Catchings visits IMPD Training Academy
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Olympic gold medalist Tamika Catchings is taking on the role of Indianapolis police chief.
The former Indiana Fever star visited the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s training academy Wednesday.
During a discussion, she talked with the group about traffic stops, officer safety and race relations.
Catchings also conducted her own mock traffic stop to end the day.
