Parents using personal tragedy to help others

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The legacy of a two-year-old is being kept alive by his parents who want to help others with sick children.

Grayson Dunham died in August from a complication from E.coli.  The child’s parents, Kayla and Brent Dunham, are using their tragedy to education parents about the dangers of E.coli.

They are also hoping to establish a fund in their son’s name at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. In order to do so, they have to raise the minimum of $10,000.

Saturday, proceeds from haircuts at Adore in Noblesville and from a silent auction went toward that goal.

More than $4,000 was raised as a result.  However, fundraising continues and you can donate by clicking here.
