Carmel retirement community taking time to honor veterans living in its facility
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – A retirement community in Carmel is taking time to honor veterans living in its facility.
The Barrington of Carmel is holding a special ceremony for its approximately 50 veterans, including a 99-year-old who served in General George S. Patton’s Seventh Army, Monday afternoon.
The ceremony will include a roll call and stories from two vets who recently flew in an honor flight.
The ceremony is at the Barrington located at 1335 South Guilford Road in Carmel at 3 p.m.
