IMPD makes arrest in northeast side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An arrest has made in a shooting that occurred over the weekend

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, 25-year-old Darnell Harmon was taken into custody for a shooting at a Marathon Gas station in the area near East 42nd Street and North Franklin Road Sunday, Nov. 6.

Police responded to the scene on reports of a person shot. After arriving on scene, Keenan Taylor was discovered suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Taylor was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital for his injuries.

After viewing surveillance footage of the shooting and talking with witnesses, officers identified Harmon as the suspect in the shooting.  Harmon was then arrested and faces a preliminary charge of attempted murder.
