INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Donald Trump is projected to win Indiana, according to CNN.

Indiana’s 11 electoral votes will go to Trump and his running mate, Indiana’s Governor Mike Pence.

Along with Kentucky, Indiana was one of the first states called for the Republican nominee.

Back in May, Trump won Indiana’s primary over Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on his way to securing the Republican nomination.

Early voting was popular in Indiana as Nearly 900,000 Hoosier voters had cast their ballots prior to Election Day.

Trump had been favored to win the Hoosier state.

In addition to Indiana and Kentucky, CNN later projected Trump to win West Virginia and Tennessee.
