Anti-Trump protesters march in California

BERKELEY (KRON) – Hundreds of protesters marched in California Tuesday night and into Wednesday in a stance against the next president of the United States.

The protesters have marched from the University of California Berkeley campus at the Sproul Plaza around midnight and have made their way down Telegraph Avenue.

The march began when Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump became the elect president of the United States.

The California Highway Patrol tells KRON4 News one of the protesters was struck by a vehicle.

The protester was hit near the Claremont Avenue off-ramp and is being treated for serious injuries, according to the CHP.
