IMPD searching for Speedway Gas Station robbery suspect
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public to help identify a robbery suspect.
Officers were sent to the Speedway Gas Station located at 441 East Hanna Avenue on Oct. 16 at 6:06 p.m. after reports of a robbery.
Police said a white male entered the gas station and passed a note to the clerk demanding money, implying he had a gun. Police said no gun was reported to be visible.
Police describe the suspect as:
- 30 to 40 years of age
- 6’4″ to 6’5″ tall
- 220 to 230 pounds
- Wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a stripe down the sides, white shoes
- Tattoos on the back of his hands
The suspect left the scene in a dark blue Chevrolet Cruz heading westbound on East Hanna Avenue.
