Pacers players visit kids at Riley Hospital for Children

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The patients at Riley Hospital for Children had some special visitors Tuesday afternoon.

Indiana Pacers players and coaches visited the hospital to sign autographs, take pictures and also play some games.

The team said events like this aren’t only meaningful for the kids, but that the players also get a lot out of the experience.

“We get a chance to come out and see the kids smile, you know, put a smile on a lot of people’s faces,” said Pacers forward Glen Robinson III. “We’re blessed enough to have the opportunity to play this game and have fun while doing it. To put a smile on other people’s faces just means so much to me and this whole organization.”

The Indiana Pacemates were also at the hospital as part of Tuesday’s event to help bring joy to the kids.
