Former Indiana judge charged with sexual misconduct to hear sentence
SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A former Indiana judge who inappropriately touched inmates will be sentenced Wednesday morning.
Clark Rehme is charged with three counts of sexual misconduct and one county of official misconduct.
Police said on multiple occasions he met with female clients in an interview room at the Shelby County Jail. They said he then engaged in sex acts with the women.
Rehme was caught when one of the women who complained agreed to a sting operation to catch him in the act, according to the court records.
In October, Rehme entered a guilty plea.
His hearing is set for 10 a.m.
