Greenfield teen accused of raping girl

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A Greenfield 18-year-old has been charged with rape after a girl told police he forced her to have sex.

According to 24-Hour News 8 partner The Greenfield Reporter, Justin Miller faces a level 3 felony count of rape.

He pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday.

Court documents say Miller forced himself on the girl when the two were alone to watch a movie at his home in early July.

She eventually stopped resisting him “because he was bigger than her, and he was going to get what he wanted anyway,” court documents state.

The unidentified girl came to police a month after the alleged incident. Miller told detectives he never forced her to do anything and the two had not communicated for months, but he gave contradicting stories, according to court documents.

Text messages showed the two had conversed about meeting up on the day the victim claimed the incident happened, court documents show.

Miller’s charge faces a maximum penalty of 16 years in prison. His trial is set for March.
