Motorcyclist killed in southeast side accident
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person was killed in an accident on the southeast side Friday evening.
The deadly accident happened in the area of South Hunter Road and East Raymond Street just after 6:30 p.m.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to that area for an accident involving personal injury involving a motorcycle.
After arriving on scene, emergency medical personnel and IFD pronounced the cyclist dead.
Police said the accident involved a tow truck and a motorcycle. The tow truck was headed westbound at the time of the accident as the motorcycle, headed southbound struck the passenger side of the flatbed wrecker.
