Ayres clock downtown ticking once again

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Ayres clock has been fixed and is ticking once again.

The city held a ceremonial start for the old clock Sunday.

Indiana Landmarks said that no one remembers when the clock actually quit working.

It was designed for the old Ayres department store back in 1936, Carson’s now sits in that location.
