Parents continue to search for daughter missing since October

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A mother and father from Muncie are in the search of their life trying to find their daughter who went missing in October.

She was last seen at an Indianapolis house party.

Over the weekend, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found Angie Barlow’s car on the east side. It was the first break they’ve had in the case.

Meanwhile her mom and dad have been searching for a month for a daughter they say wouldn’t just leave.

“Nobody just disappears without a trace. Nobody does,” said Christina Barlow-Kramer, while searching for her daughter in Indianapolis. “There’s got to be something somewhere. Somebody somewhere knows something. We won’t give up hope at all. Not until we find her.”

23-year-old Angie Barlow went missing in the morning hours of Oct. 26. Her parents say she was at a house party on the 7600 block of Harcourt Road. They say she got a call at 3 a.m. and left. That was the last time she was seen by anyone.

Barlow-Kramer says none of the people her daughter was with has offered information as to her whereabouts.

She says her daughter wouldn’t just leave without notice.

“If she’s going out of town, she lets me know she’s going out of town and I always tell her the same thing, let me know when you get there. And she lets me know when she gets there and she lets me know when she’s heading back,” she said.

Earlier this month, friends and family held a bowling fundraiser that helped raise money for the $5,000 reward now being offered. They also came out over the weekend to search Holliday Park for any signs. The park is about three miles from where she was last seen.

“We will not stop until she’s found,” she said.

IMPD said Monday they have reason to believe that Barlow didn’t leave on her own. But they also said it’s possible that she did.

There’s nothing illegal about a 23-year-old just walking away.
