Colts hand out Thanksgiving meals to those in need

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Members of the Colts organization volunteered Tuesday morning to help those less fortunate.

Players, cheerleaders and Colts staff handed out meals to families in need.

Indy Mayor Joe Hogsett even pitched in to help.

“It’s not just the Colts, it’s not just the office of the mayor,” he said of the community helping those in need. “The Mozel Sanders Foundation will have their annual Thanksgiving Day dinner. It’s a bunch of different groups — some faith based, others that are civic — and the Colts obviously are part of today’s festivities, trying to make sure every family in Indianapolis has an opportunity to enjoy Thanksgiving.”

The meals were handed out at Lucas Oil Stadium.
