Designer Sewing Center encourages adults and kids to learn how to sew

Designer Sewing Center is a mom-and-pop shop owned by Natalie Reiners. She learned to sew at 7 or 8 years old, worked in the fashion industry for designers like Brian Bailey and Michael Campbell, then opened her own designer sewing shop in Whitestown about a year ago.

Her passion is teaching children the art of sewing, so she offers low-cost sewing classes for kids. In fact, a sign up for new classes is happening right now.

Reiners discusses the Sutura Kids Program that is offered, as well as Black Friday deals, such as a free sewing machine to adult students who register for the Serge Like a Pro and Sew Like a Pro courses!

Another perk is getting up to 60 months of 0% A.P.R. on any Brother machine purchased at Designer Sewing Center.

9-year-olds Hannah Foster & Meliah Woods demonstrate how to make tote bags, which they learned to make in a class at Designer Sewing Center.  Hannah is actually wearing one of her own creations as well!
