INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A local 8-year-old boy is continuing to make his voice heard in the Indianapolis community.
Reese Hamilton hosted a peace march through his neighborhood in October, and now he’s helping the homeless this holiday season.
The young boy stood outside with friends and family Thursday to give out Thanksgiving meals to those in need. He and his mother cooked 175 containers worth of food.
Reese said he gave out food because didn’t want his impact to stop with just the peace march.
After organizing a blanket drive at his school, he and his family plan to walk downtown on Christmas Eve to hand out blankets to the homeless.Click here to donate to his efforts.
