One-year-old pug, Maximus aka Max, was in the car with Alyssa Bizefski who died in the crash after a pickup truck crossed over the median and into her lane. Bizefski’s fiancé Dustin Parr was on the phone with her from Houston when it happened.

Dustin and Alyssa’s family had been looking for him since Saturday. They searched shelters and woods before finding him Friday.

Parr shared the news on his Facebook page that Max had been found and thanked family members and friends who helped search for him.
