HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — There was a line out the door of one Noblesville business Friday, but it wasn’t to buy clothes or a TV.
The Humane Society of Hamilton County held a Black Friday sale.
Cats and kittens were available for $5, and dogs were sold for $10.
The shelter had been at capacity, with hundreds of dogs and cats needing forever homes this holiday season.
The facility is the only no-kill shelter in the state, according to staff.
It’s recently seen an increase in senior dogs and cats being surrendered.
If you missed Friday’s sale, the shelter is open all weekend long.
