Shoppers flock to local malls for Black Friday deals
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Shoppers scurried inside the Fashion Mall at Keystone and the Crossing to purchase some of the latest Black Friday deals.
A sea of people walked along the concourse going from shop to shop.
“I’m just looking around trying to kill some time and burn some calories after the holidays,” said shopper Craig Cannon.
Many people didn’t seem to mind the crowds, some, in fact, found it festive.
“I like being out with the crowd, and getting in the holiday spirit and getting the deals,” said Shopper Terri Jett.
According to the National Retail Federation, sales in November and December will increase by 3.6 percent to $655.8 billion.
The Fashion Mall closes at 9 p.m. Friday. It’s open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
