Pedestrian struck on southwest side, in serious condition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A pedestrian is in serious condition after being struck on the city’s southwest side.

According to Wayne Township Fire Department, the incident happened in the area of Washington Street and Sigsbee Street just before 10 p.m. Tuesday evening.

The woman was said to be in stable, but serious condition but was said to be talking.

Wayne Township Fire Department said the car that struck woman fled the scene.
