IMPD seizes over 300 grams of narcotics

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department InPAct and Narcotics units seized 160 grams of cocaine, along with other narcotics.

Officers were contacted by a Parole Board agents after reports to a parolee, 34-year-old Justin Taylor of Indianapolis, who was found to be in violation of his parole and had possession of narcotics.

Officers were sent to the 3000 block of Lincoln Road to conduct an investigation of the allegations of Taylor.

After a search warrant was obtained, police found the following:

  • 160 grams of cocaine
  • 180 grams of spice
  • 10 grams of heroin
  • 3 grams of marijuana
  • $4,630 in cash

Taylor was arrested and preliminary charged with the following:

  • dealing narcotics
  • dealing marijuana
  • possession of narcotics
  • possession of marijuana
  • maintaining a common nuisance

Taylor was transported to the Arrestee Processing Center.
