One dead in seven-vehicle crash in Brownsburg

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A multiple vehicle crash has closed an intersection in Brownsburg.

The intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and 56th Street was closed as crews cleaned up the crash.

The Brownsburg Police Department said one person, an adult male, has died as a result of the crash.

Police have identified him as 67-year-old Willie Neal Jr. of Brownsburg.

Seven vehicles in total were involved.

Two more people were transported with injuries, one with a possible broken arm, another with a general complain of pain.

Other injuries reported were minor.

Police believe Neal was rear-ended. They have not released the cause of death.

The driver that rear ended him submitted blood tests for review. The results of those tests have not been revealed.
