BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – The Indiana University football team will play the University of Utah in the Foster Farms Bowl.

The Hoosiers will square off against the Utes of Utah at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

New IU head coach Tom Allen welcomed the opportunity to play Utah.

“We’re excited to be able to go to the Foster Farms Bowl in California to play the Utah Utes,” said Allen. “It’s a great opportunity for us to match up against another great conference in this country in the Pac-12 and play one of their better teams. The Hoosiers are fired up to be heading west.”

IU recently dismissed head coach Kevin Wilson.

The Hoosiers have finished the past two seasons with a 6-6 record.
