17-year-old girl shot on city’s northeast side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Authorities are investigating a shooting of a teenage girl Monday night.
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Priscilla Avenue.
Police said the shooting appears to have been a drive-by shooting.
The female was hit three times, in the calf, leg and elbow.
The girl has been transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in good condition. After arriving at the hospital, she was taken into surgery.
The investigation is ongoing.
