Arrest made after homeless woman found wrapped in blanket, stabbed to death in parking lot

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has made an arrest in the murder of a homeless woman in November.

IMPD has arrested 59-year-old Carylon Young in connection to the death of 65-year-old Margaret Means.

Means was found stabbed to death and wrapped in a blanket in a parking lot on Nov. 18.

Young was arrested on Dec. 4.

The case now heads to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office for a charging decision.
