INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A plane headed to Florida overnight Monday, diverted to Indianapolis instead.

Authorities told 24-Hour News 8 the plane landed for a suspect fuel leak. They said the flight was headed from Chicago to Florida.

According to website flightaware.com, which contains public information, says Frontier flight 1334 took off from Chicago Ohare Airport on its way to West Palm Beach, Florida. While near Indianapolis, it was diverted for what’s being called a precautionary move for a reported suspected fuel leak. The plane then landed in Indianapolis just before midnight.

Passengers were moved to another aircraft and continued on their journey.

No emergency crews were called. The plane was still sitting at the gate around 4:30 a.m.

Authorities did have what looked like someone checking the plane, but that was around 2 a.m.
